Maddie and team have done it again- finding the perfect place to kick back and unwind from the hustle and bustle of real life! We stayed at the beginning of the summer holidays at perfectly placed Little Beach. The accommodation is immaculate, with large bedrooms and very comfortable beds, three nicely sized bathrooms and an amazing double level patio. The view when waking is breath-taking and it is only a few steps to the beach. We spent our days having a leisurely breakfast, going for walks or swimming and bodyboarding and finishing the day with a drink on the patio watching the sun go down. It was an easy walk into town to visit the various eateries which added to the relaxation of this holiday. For rainy days there is a DVD player and games in the cupboard- we even taught the kids to play Rummicub. There were a couple of issues which would make this place perfect- the lounge is small, and the sofa only has a back on half of it (chaise type corner sofa). I am the smallest at 5 ft 7” in the group and the four of us were a bit squashed but luckily we took camping chairs so we managed to get comfortable. Lastly, somewhere to rinse the wetsuits would have helped- a bucket on the patio maybe? We would stay at Little Beach again, and would recommend it to others. July 2016
Hi Holiday Home Hunter , just a quick note from the Sharp Family to say thanks for a great holiday , this is the second time we have stayed in 2 Little Beach. No 2 Little Beach is perfect for a family holiday , the main Beach/Village is a 5 minute walk away, and the Barricane Beach with its award winning curries is even closer. The view from the main bedroom and balcony is stunning , giving uninterrupted views to Lundy Island. The interior of 2 Little Beach is finished to a very high standard , and the 3 bed , 3 bath layout avoids any family squabbles. The rest of the apartment is very well appointed, with high quality fit and finish throughout. The bonus of an allocated parking space is a godsend , as parking on the Esplanade is very limited. Our family have been Holidaying in Woolacombe for 20 years , and this is by far the best location we have stayed in. If you want a Beach Based holiday with fast access to all local amenities , I can recommend staying at Little Beach Have already booked for next year.... August 2016
We have been staying at Woolacombe each year with our 4 children for at least 8 years. We absolutely love it. Over that time we have stayed in a different property each time (and wish we’d bought one too!). Little Beach has become our favourite because of its quality of fittings and location and we have been in No.3 and No.8. This was our first say in No.2 and it was outstanding. The standard of the apartment is superb, with excellent furniture, beds and bedding all a really good quality, nothing cheap at all. And it really shows. The kitchen was perfect, it had everything we needed. The heating and hot water are very efficient, the hot water plentiful which was particularly useful when everybody comes in from surfing, freezing cold and wanting a hot shower all at the same time. Three showers coped brilliantly! Bathrooms are an excellent standard too. The view can't be beaten and in true Devon style we experienced just about all weathers, we were able to sit out on the veranda in full sun right up until sunset some days and on other we couldn’t see the hills on either side for the sea mist and the pelting rain. Sitting on the bed in the master bedroom was a bit like being on a boat - you can’t see land at all. Spectacular! Loved it all, perfect. Thank you. July 2015
