Customer Reviews For 5 Narracott Apartments

We have returned very happy from an excellent holiday in Woolacombe, Devon staying at 5 Narracott Apartments. This is a n extremely spacious, well appointed apartment with all appliances and conveniences that may be wished for on holiday. There are two sitting areas, a full kitchen, a dining area with table, two bedrooms and two bathrooms (one with bath, one of which is en-suite and has a heated floor). In the upper mezzanine sitting area there is a full size TV and two large sofas. There are two TVs, the full size one has DVD and video capability with a range of DVDs and videos provided covering both adult and children's interest. The three large sofas are perfectly adequate to sleep on extending the four bed spaces by at least three. It is excellent that the apartment had books, games, bucket and spade and many other extras to help enhance the experience with a lot of thought given to entertain children. A book about the apartment,. local and Devon amenities is provided on arrival which is very helpful. Substantive information was also provided in advance by email. There are two balcony entrances to a an area overlooking the beach. This apartment has its own parking space which is very helpful, others have dedicated free parking in a small carpark near the beach. One consideration for guests is that the apartment entrance is up a steep but relatively short hill, this may impact the ability of some people to use the apartment. Woolacombe and the surrounding area is beautiful, the town is just big enough to retain interest without becoming overly commercial. There are further great beaches, villages, pubs, restaurants and attractions near the village too at Croyde, Saunton, Barnstaple, Ilfracombe and beyond. There is public transport in and out of the town via Barnstaple and Ilfracombe. Do enjoy the beach and cliff walks which are extensive and picturesque. While we were staying there is working going on in the apartment block with some minor noise and workmen around. This did not disturb us much other than having to consider driving in and out with a little more care. The work looks extensive from the outside and may disturb others more than us. It was not a major consideration for our apartment may have substantial impact for others closer to the work. It will be worth checking on this aspect before booking and we were made aware well in advance, so knew what to expect. We enjoyed our stay immensely and will be delighted to use Holiday Home Hunter again for our next holiday. June 2017
We had a lovely holiday at 5 narracot apartments. Its promiximity to the beach meant days out with two small children were very easy and stress free and great for taking boards down to surf. The apartment catered very well for a young family and friends and small details were well thought out to make life easier. April 2017
Spacious, clean, well appointed, dog friendly, very close to beech and all local amenities.... we loved this place. The apartment was huge, great walk in shower in en suite, loved the underfloor heating. Great space in the living room/kitchen/dining area... open and airy. Comfy beds and great showers. We loved the little snug upstairs for box sets after dinner.. never ate out as kitchen was great... parking right outside, well equipped, brilliant service from HHH, we had an issue during our stay and Maddie was on site within hours despite having been at a family celebration on a Friday evening. Cannot fault the service, response, follow up etc. Great accommodation, brilliant service from HHH, I suspect we will be back! March 2017
I loved the apartment, for many reasons: - perfect location for village and beach - brilliant parking allowing easy unpacking/packing - clean, tidy - exactly as described - spacious, light, modern - dog friendly (there aren't many which are) - comfortable furnishings (especially upstairs) - well equipped, love the coffee machine (I can't live without decent coffee!) - flexibility of 2 televisions Small negatives: - the hot water/boiler kept going off but we worked it out - the inflatable bed seemed to have a slow puncture But we loved the apartment so much that these issues were irrelevant We absolutely want to book again!!= June 2016
Accommodation fantastic, spacious, modern, spotlessly clean, brilliant facilities and a supurb location could’nt get any better. Been to Woolacombe 14 years on the run and this apartment is by far the best accommodation we have stayed in. A fantastic holiday see you again next year! Thanks for an amazing week did’nt want to travel home. August 2013
Lovely spacious clean and tidy well laid out apartment – loved the upstairs room for hiding the kids away! Visited Ilfracombe, Lynton/Lynmouth, Arlington Place. The boardwalk- great food, views and very child tolerant . Lastly loved all the toys, books, DVD’s, CD’s etc etc in the flat, kids especially like the little children’s table. July 2013
First time in Woolacombe, we will definitely be back. As we were all trying out a new surfboard it was an easy walk from the beach to the apartment. We have not eaten out much as we have taken it in turns in the kitchen. This is a great apartment for relaxing, chatting and having a good meal cooked for you. Everything is here even toys for the kids, some good music to listen too, it has felt like home for a week which we all liked. Thank you for letting us stay. July 2013
A lovely apartment ideally located for a family with two small children, they loved the space, especially the ‘upstairs’. It catered for all our needs we could not have asked for any more, it was great to have plenty to occupy the children. We spent as much time as the weather would allow on Woolacombe beach, went swimming in Ruda at Croyde – great. Some lovely pubs for food In Woolacombe and Mortehoe. Will be back next year! June 2012
A short 4 day break… problem – to short. We loved staying in your home thanks so much for letting us share it, the kids have loved playing with the colouring, train set etc. and we’ve left a couple of spades and a beach ball. The location of this apartment is fantastic – a trip over to the beach is viable anytime of day as its so close. Our girls loved Watermouth Castle. I’m a runner so the 4 miler along beach and back is Fantastic. Do hope to share your home again sometime. May 2012
The accommodation is the best we’ve stayed at clean and tidy and well catered for which meant we were’nt to bothered when it rained. Our three kids loved the upstairs ‘chill out’ area and all the toys, books. Was so handy for the beach, especially liked Putsborough sands – its well worth the walk. Saunton sands/Braunton burrows also good for a day out. April 2012
