We absolutely loved it. House was warm and spotless and spacious. And everything it promised to be with some very welcome extras...prosecco and chocs etc...all those little things mean alot and make you appreciate the owners. Esp extra loo rolls, dishwash tabs etc etc . We have stayed in places where that is not the case and its always disappointing. Will definitely go again! Best views and we were blessed with wonderful weather and light! Also woolacombe stables were wonderful and our 15 year old had the most amazing gallop on the beach and ride through the dunes! 2hrs! Ate in Bistro Watersmeet...average food and appalling service. Shame. All in all we loved it and thank you. October 2018
Great location, well equipped and stunning views. Beach, restaurants & shops all within 5 minutes walk from Cliff Cottage. Stayed at a number of holiday rentals in Woolacombe over many years but the location & stunning views from the cottage is unparalleled. Very clean & well equipped. Will definitely return to this beautiful cottage in 2019. September 2018
Just cross the road & car park to reach the beach! A 5 minute walk to the town (which has lots of gluten free eating out options) or stroll to the coastal path along the cliff top. The property was clean, tidy & spacious. The dining table provided sea views, when the weather wasn't allowing outdoor seating. A fully equipped kitchen provides self catering options. Lounge & patio seating gave plenty of chilling space. The front garden is fenced for dogs at present. September 2018
Our family of four had a fabulous week at Cliff Cottage. The location is perfect for Woolacombe Beach, Barricaine Bay (worth visiting for rock pooling and the highly recommended Sri Lankan curry) and for walks slightly further afield (including the fantastic Morte Point). The house is as advertised - all the mod cons you need, with great indoor and outdoor space for relaxing and taking in the views (which you won't get tired of). Our particular faves were watching the sunset from the outdoor patio terrace and playing badminton on the front lawn. In short, this is the ideal family base to enjoy this beautiful part of the world. We are already looking forward to our next visit. August 2018
We only had 3 nights at Cliff Cottage but will certainly come again. This is a great place to stay! The house overlooks the main surf beach which is reached in moments... it's just across the road!! Pubs, restaurants and shops are only 100 yards away , you don't need to get the car out! The accommodation was perfect for our group of 2 couples and 2 children , in fact we had room to spare. We are not used to staying in a holiday home where everything is so new and smart... our favourites were the terrace furniture for lazing ( with glass in hand!) and the pair of warm outdoor showers after surfing...such luxury! A fabulous holiday house! Highly recommended! August 2018
This is a brilliant place to stay. We had an amazing holiday here. The location is just perfect- you can not get closer to the beach in Woolacombe- it is literally across the road! We had so much fun surfing- outdoor showers to rinse off were great. The views from the house are simply stunning- I haven’t stayed anywhere in the UK with such an impressive outlook of the beach - you look straight down the three miles to Putsborough and Baggy Point. The tides and sky are constantly changing so you never tire of looking at it! We walked down there for breakfast at the cafe at Putsborough. The shops and cafes in Woolacombe are just a couple of minutes walk away. House has off street parking for several cars which is a real bonus for Woolacombe. All in all a great holiday and we are already booked in for a return trip! July 2018
What a fabulous place! We had such a great stay here, the house is beautiful with the most amazing views, you couldn’t get better. Just over the road to the beach with our boards, great surf, great weather. The house was perfect for our group, we had 3 kids and two sets of parents and there was plenty of room, the house had everything we needed, great layout and decoration. It also has outside showers, makes it so much easier with the kids after the beach and avoids getting sand everywhere. Plenty of room to park, moments walk to pubs/restaurants... but tbh all I wanted to do was sit on the terrace and take in the view! We will definitely be coming back. July 2018
