We have just arrived home after another lovely week in Devon. We stayed at Imperial 1, our third stay in the apartment. We were given a warm welcome by Roger, the owner, and a bottle of wine to help us relax after a long journey. As always, the apartment was lovely and clean. The bunk beds have been replaced with a single bed with a trundle bed underneath which is better now our children are a bit older. The view from the balcony over the beach was glorious. The beds are comfy, the kitchen equipped well enough for a family of 4. Having a washing machine and a dishwasher is great. Booking through Holiday Home Hunter is easy and I like having the online payment option as well now, for the balance. My only comment would be to allow for smaller payments to be made using the online payment system, so the balance can be paid in instalments. Joining instructions are clear and the office is just down the road in Woolacombe for any problems (not that we have ever had any!). August 2017
Recently stayed at the imperial apartments for our second time, always made to feel very welcome by Roger and co, apartments are excellent with stunning views, will most certainly be going back, well reccomended. January 2017
The fact that this is our second visit to the Imperial Apartments says something about its facilities and location! We returned this summer for our second stay there, and loved it as much as the first time. It’s a long drive for us, but we were warmly met by the owner, Roger. He helped us in with the luggage and even brought us a bottle of wine. The apartment is very clean and well equipped. We have two children aged 9 and 6, and they have everything they needed – the addition of the WiFi this year was definitely a bonus on the wet day we had. We love the fact it’s such a short walk to the beach and the village itself, and the outside shower is great for getting all the sand off at the end of the day. It’s lovely to sit and watch the waves from the little balcony. I would definitely recommend this apartment if you are looking for a clean, modern and well equipped base for your Woolacome holiday. We have booked four holidays now through Holiday Home Hunter and I have recommended them to family and friends as I am confident the apartments they offer will be of a high standard. Their website is easy to use and booking is simple – I would simply suggest as a minor improvement that there is a way to pay the balance of the holiday through the website. It’s good to get a phone call a few days before your holiday to confirm the arrival arrangements. Professional and courteous all the way! August 2015
We were very grateful you pointed us in the direction of the Apartment, it was in the perfect location very close to the beach And shops. The apartment had everything you needed and was very clean and a lovely view of the beach from the balcony. Roger the Owner was excellent from the minute we arrived, helping us with our luggage and then making us feel very welcome All week. We would have no hesitation in recommending the property as a great holiday home, we thoroughly enjoyed our Weeks stay. August 2015
Hi, we had our second stay at Imperial Apartment 1 during the last week of May and found it superb as we did on the last occasion. The apartment itself is very well maintained and equipped and spotlessly clean and the view has to be one of the best in Woolacombe. The apartment caters especially well for surfers & body boarders, with outside tap and hot shower available to use. Roger, the owner could not be more pleasant and helpful, and with relatives staying at his adjacent B&B at the same time, even invited us around for breakfast one morning which was a lovely gesture & made our day. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend both the apartment and Imperial B&B and are looking forward to staying there again soon. May 2015
