What a fantastic place!! I have been returning to Point View for over 10 years now, both with my family and my partner, and it is still as beautiful as ever. The apartment is in such a wonderful location, opposite the beach, and has everything you need for a fantastic holiday. The balcony out the back is perfect for relaxing with a drink and a book, soaking up the sun. The whole process, from booking to arrival to checking out was seamless and without issue, but if ever you need anything, the lovely staff at Holiday Home Hunter are more than happy to help. Woolacombe is the most beautiful location with gorgeous beaches and coastal walks. Mortehoe is just a short walk away and offer the best cream teas! I absolutely adore the time I spend in Woolacombe and Point View, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. May 2018
Mature parents and our 20 year old son spent a marvellous week in Woolacombe at Point View in late October /early November . The location is unbeatable. The apartment is superb....cosy,comfortable,clean and beautifully furnished and decorated . The views to back and,especially,front,over Combesgate beach,are magnificent. Within walking distance of everything you need. A review needs to be honest so,yes!the T.V.doesn't quite live up to a 20yr old's standards... (Not HD and unable to provide Netflix)... but he loved the gorgeous sunsets,the walks to Morte Point (along the Coast Path) and Puttsborough along the glorious beach and a Halloween walk in the dark along the seafront when we met a fox, an owl and a couple of bats and even dared to rattle "Boo Radley's" front gate for a 'trick or treat'. Fortunately nobody was in! Oh! Thanks to Julia for a welcoming phone call with arrival instructions. All in all, a'wicked' place to holiday, but please don't book when we want to go! Thanks. We have just had a great week at point view. The apartment is amazing, with wonderful facilities and the views are spectacular. We will definitely return.. Everyone was very helpful in sorting out the wifi which was then working perfectly. Thank you. October 2017
Well what can we say. We have stayed in Woolacombe for many years (I've been visiting for over 30 years) and this has to be the best apartment we have stayed in. This was our second visit to Point View and we have just booked it for next February. The view is to die for, overlooking Combesgate beach. The apartment is so spacious and luxurious and it is always well equipped when you arrive. The milk in the fridge and the yummy chocolate cake was very much appreciated. We are very much looking forward to returning next year. August 2017
We have recently returned from holiday in Point View apartment in Woolacombe. This was the first time we had stayed in the apartment and we can say with certainty that it won’t be the last. We had a wonderful time, the views from the apartment would be difficult to beat. The balcony at the front of the apartment was great for relaxing in the evening and watching the sun set over Combesgate Beach. The enclosed balcony at the rear of the property was perfect for sitting in the morning sunshine (which we were lucky enough to enjoy) and also had the benefit of opening out straight onto the National Trust pathway. We couldn’t fault the apartment in any way, everything was of a very high standard, spotlessly clean and contained everything you would require. Can’t wait to return in June. May 2017
Yet another superb week spent in 5 Point View. Very welcoming, clean, neat and tidy. Very relaxing and comfy. Since our previous visit, the bathrooms have been refurbished to a very high standard, rooms decorated, carpets shampooed (we actually thought they had been replaced), there is new seating in the lounge and a new larger television. Looking forward already to booking another stay. April 2017
Point View is a great place to stay. Woolacombe is, of course, a beautiful town and Breakers is ideally situated, just a few minutes' walk from the glorious main beach and right across the road from Combesgate Beach. The apartment is ideal for four people, with two balconies overlooking the beach and direct access to National Trust land at the rear. We found it exceptionally clean and well-equipped throughout. Stayed for 2 weeks in point view from 26th June. Must be about our 6th or 7th stay here and it was as great as ever. Everything we need in a holiday home and more. We will be back for sure. Thank you. July 2015
We had a fantastic time in Woolacombe again this year, now the 4th year in the row. We have used Holiday Home Hunter each year and have always found a property that suits us. This year we had an amazing view from our window (shown in the picture). The apartments have always been of a high standard and well equipped to take the stress out of the stay and the packing. We all love Woolacombe and find new things to do each year. The kids love the rock pools at Coombsgate beach and we love the walks along to Morte point and upto Mortohoe. We all love a sunset curry on Barricaine beach. When ever we leave the first question in the car is always, "when are we going again Mum?". July 2015

'Fantastic dog friendly accomodation' 5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday for a stay in February 2015 NEW As one can see from the photos this is a top floor apartment so lots of steps but we all managed including Lotti the dog and it was really worth it. We were on the beach - due to the tide being out - for our early morning walk which was just brilliant as the sun came across. The equipment provided was of a good quality and there is nothing we thought which was missing. The apartment was really warm and even with fairly bitter driving weather at times we were able to turn it off some nights! There is also back access into the field and foot path across to Rockfield Rd and onto Woolacombe or to the left across and then up the back route to Mortehoe and out into the car park by the post office. The views were stunning and just a lovely place to be. Being this end of Woolacombe you are away from the crush but with easy access to stroll along into town and Watersmeet also accept non resident guests for various meals and is highly recommended so worth a try next time.
