Customer Reviews For Puffin

We had a lovely holiday, helped immensely by the beautiful weather. The flat was clean and well equipped. A real home from home. What a lovely surprise to find a basketful of goodies waiting for us, how thoughtful. The views were wonderful. Even the crane on the site near the apartment kept us amused! Just one or two little hiccups. When we arrived after a very long journey we found someone in our parking space and it took us ages to get the key out of the key safe. Thank you for very promptly getting back to us. Of course there was the problem with the leak, which put a little damper on the holiday (sorry for the pun). Once again you tried to sort this out. Hope you’ve managed to find the problem now. However, these problems didn’t spoil our holiday and we would recommend the apartment and Woolacombe to anyone. June 2018
We had a lovely holiday at Puffin. As soon as we arrived we were delighted with what we saw, the apartment was fresh and clean and beautifully appointed and all the equipment was of a high standard. We appreciated the welcome pack of crisps, biscuits, chocolate and sparking juice. The apartment is in a beautiful position looking out towards Woolacombe beach. It's an easy walk down to the beach, and we hardly used the car at all during our stay. We would recommend that you approach Springfield Road by turning at the Village Hall rather than turning at Narracott hotel ( there's a lot of building work going on there) The booking process was very easy and Holiday Home Hunter were great to deal with. We would love to return. June 2017
We found the flat clean and tidy with a substantial welcome pack of crisps, shortbread and cordial. We were impressed with how much tea, coffee and sugar was available as it more than lasted our week. There was also ample crockery for all our needs. The beds were very comfortable with plenty of storage space for clothes. We especially enjoyed the views from the lounge and balcony which were superb. The location was quiet and central for walking into the town. Parking was reserved and easy to get into. We spent a lot of time on the balcony enjoying breakfast, one lunch and several early evening relaxations. TV reception was fine. The kitchen and lounge were well appointed and the dining table a good size. Cooking in the kitchen was easy, just mind your head on the cooker hood! A handy information booklet giving details of rubbish removal dates, general guidelines and local places to visit was very useful. We spent a very enjoyable holiday there and would certainly recommend. We hope to return in the not too distant future. September 2016
Had a lovely holiday staying in Puffin. The apartment was very clean, comfortable, well equipped and has beautiful views of the beach and sea as well as the countryside from the sitting room window and the balcony. A lovely place to sit and relax. The welcome pack was a lovely thought, the biscuits in particular went down well! The bed was extremely comfortable with great views through the patio doors. We would certainly be happy to stay in Puffin again and would not hesitate in recommending it to friends. Holiday Home Hunter offered a friendly and efficient service from booking to arrival date and were always happy to answer any questions. Contact was mainly by email but they were answered promptly and it was nice to receive a friendly text giving us the key code on arrival day. Thank you. June 2016
We had a great time at puffin, perfect location, awesome views, lovely welcome pack, well appointed and clean, would highly recommend and would not hesitate to book again. October 2015

We had a fantastic holiday from the minute I saw the view from the flat I knew I was going to enjoy my stay rain or shine. The accommodation was great, clean, plenty of space and two bathrooms, a bonus. Large fridge and freezer meant that we could cater for ourselves easily although we did eat out on several occasions. We did not get the chance to visit the curry restaurant on the beach so are hoping to revisit in the future to experience that. I would happily have sat on the balcony and watched the world go by, however we had other plans with two teenage children we had to keep busy, well in the afternoon anyway. We had arranged activities with Matt at H2O, coasteering in Croyde being the first followed by kayaking in Ilfracombe, everybody thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Waves were great towards the end of the week so surfing and body boarding were on the agenda. And on a rainy morning Tabitha and I managed to get some pottery painting done too. August 2015
