We had a wonderful stay for a week at Summer Breeze House in Croyde from 25th August 2018. My husband and I with our little girl and our very dear friends with their little girl; it was the perfect location for two families wanting to relax by the sea. The house itself is just a two minute walk from the lovely village of Croyde where we were able to get smoothies and breakfasts from the lovely delis on a daily basis. We ate out at The Thatch pub which was very nice. The beautiful sandy bay of Croyde is about a 10 to 15 minute walk away and we spent many hours there. We had a day trip to Ilfracombe on one of the less sunny days and the girls loved that (only 15 minutes away by car). One of our favourite meals of the holiday was at the Rock pub in Georgeham - beautiful food and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. We cooked a lot at the house and used the barbeque/pizza oven on a few occasions, which was great. It was wonderful to be able to relax in the hot tub first thing in the morning and last thing at night. Even on the few rainy days we still went in the hot tub and relaxed. One of our favourite memories was relaxing in the hot tub on a late summer evening watching the shooting stars - simply beautiful. Due to the lack of pollution in this area the night skies are filled with stars. It was truly a lovely break. The house was very well equipped, there was plenty of room for the two families and the highlight is the outside space, set over two levels with lovely furniture, views and of course hot tub. The owner Julie was wonderful and so friendly. She came to greet us on our arrival and on our departure she kindly gave us some lovely bottles of cider and craft beer along with chocolate lollipops for the girls. A great host indeed! We had a great time with the family at Summer Breeze in Croyde. This house had ample room for seven of us and was well equipped inside and out. Both the brilliant hot-tub and the superb barbecue were put to good use. It's very convenient for the shops and eateries in Croyde (a short stroll) and only 10 minutes walk from the beach. The owners, who live next door, were extremely welcoming and helpful. May 2018
After many times camping we decided to hire a house in Croyde. Summer Breeze House was fantastic. Very clean and fully quipped (very useful to have a washer/dryer machine). Location was ideal tucked at the back of a cul-de-sac so nice and quiet with fields behind and a couple of minutes stroll to the centre of Croyde. There are 3 pubs to eat within walking distance as well as a pop up pizza & street food truck (which was the other side of Croyde). The beach was 10 minute walk, which cuts through Surfers Paradise or if you have little ones there are car parks near Ruda Holiday Park. The biggest plus of the house (which is why we booked) was the hot tub. It is very clean and went down well with everyone. The owners Julie & Chris live next door so if you had any queries they are quick to help. We would definitely come back again. August 2017

Summer Breeze House was a perfect base for our family holiday. The house is very well equipped. We had lovely weather (that helps) and we really enjoyed the outside space and particularly the Hot Tub. This is a great holiday house for all ages. Thanks for a great week in a fabulous location. We had an excellent stay at summer breeze house in Croyde. The Hot tub and sun deck are great additions and kept the children entertained. I thought the kitchen utensils were amongst the best I have ever used at a holiday home. I always get frustrated in self catering accommodation elsewhere when the pans and knifes etc are of such poor quality that it is like being a student again! The summer Breeze house had great pans and knifes and even motivated me to buy better utensils at home! The location is fantastic as you can walk everywhere in Croyde and is a good base for North Devon generally. We will definitely be back. I would also suggest paying extra for towels as the quality of the towels is well worth it and saves the hassle. Summer Breeze house also has a washing/drying machine which is fantastic with a young family so you don’t go home with lots of washing. You do have to keep an eye on small babies as there are a couple of ledges to be weary of outside but other than that a great holiday home. When appreciated the little gift at the start and end of our holiday too. ;) August 2015
We had a wonderful stay in Summer Breeze. The weather was mostly kind to us and we were able to relax in the garden and on the beach! The house is lovely and kept very clean. It has just about everything you need for a holiday and we would be very happy to return. May 2015
